Tally Erp 9: How to prepare and send the Quotation from Gmail in Tally

Quotation option is already Default in Tally in the name of Sales order.

If you want to create separate voucher for Quotation, You have to create one Voucher under the Sales order.

And all the Details can be view under sales order option in Tally Erp 9

1) Create Voucher Type

Go to Gateway of Tally > Accounts Info > Voucher Types > Create

Create a voucher with the name Sales Quotation,

With the Type of Voucher as Sales Order

Tab down to accept and create.

2) Recording a Sales Quotation

Go to Gateway of Tally > Inventory Vouchers > Press Alt + F5

Click on Sales Order to select voucher type as Sales Quotation:

3) Sales Quotation Printing Configuration

Go to Gateway of Tally > F12: Configure > Printing > Sales Transactions > Sales Order / Quotation.

Enable required option Yes & Press Ctrl + A to accept.   

4) To view Sales Quotation Outstanding

Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Statements of Inventory >Sales Order Outstanding > All Orders

5) To view Sales Quotation Book

Go to Gateway of Tally > Display > Inventory Books>Sales Order Book

6) Create sales voucher against Quotation

7) To view the Pending Sales Order Summary report

 Go to Gateway of Tally > Audit & Compliance > Audit & Analysis > Pending Documents > Sales Order.
